Traveling Tips

Before You Leave:

  • Consider renting large items such as strollers, cribs, highchairs and car seats. They take up valuable space, and you may be charged extra by the airline.
  • Before heading to the airport, go online to see if your airline allows you to check-in from home. This will avoid lengthy wait time at the airport.
  • Pack alot of wet wipes, they will be a lifesaver in some of the most stickiest situations!

At The Airport:

  • Always allow for extra time.
  • When getting your seat reservation, as if the plane is full. If you are lucky you might be able to get an extra seat.
  • Remember that baby formula IS allowed on board but may be inspected.
  • You will NOT be allowed to bring a bottle or sippy cup on board containing water or any type of liquid. Be sure to empty it before you go thru the security.
  • Most airlines have reduced the allowed weight of checked luggage, so contact your airline for specifics.

On The Plane:

  • Bring some surprise toys!
  • Have little snacks handy just incase food service is not an option.
  • Be prepared for ear equalization problems. Bring gum for toddlers to chew and a bottle or pacifier for infants.
  • Enjoy yourself and remember *your travels are as much about the journey as the destination*
